How the Skin Quiz Works

The quiz asks about your skin's natural tendencies, how it feels after cleansing, how it behaves in humidity and heat, and what concerns you notice most. Based on your answers, it identifies your skin type across five categories: normal, oily, dry, combination, and sensitive. It then suggests a starting routine matched to your type and the climate conditions common across Asia.

Why Skin Type Matters in Asian Climates

High humidity and UV levels across Southeast Asia affect how skin behaves differently than in temperate climates. Oily and combination skin tends to produce more sebum in humid heat, which can clog pores and worsen breakouts. Dry skin types may feel temporarily comfortable in humidity but can still be dehydrated at the barrier level. Knowing your type helps you choose products that work with your environment rather than against it.

Skin Type Can Change

Your skin type is not fixed. Hormonal shifts, seasonal changes, age, diet, and the products you use all influence how your skin behaves. If you move between climates or notice your skin changing, retaking the quiz gives you a more current starting point. Use the result as a guide, not a permanent label.

After Your Result

Once you have your skin type, the Routine Builder can generate a step-by-step AM and PM routine matched to your type and goals. The Ingredient Checker helps you confirm that products you already own are compatible with each other. For concerns like acne type or product layering order, the Acne Type Identifier and Routine Order Checker are good next steps.
